Sychnant ponies
Noticed the ponies are down at Sychnant again. One of them - the old chestnut mare is looking a bit worse for wear now. All the others seem o.k. Started off with four regular mares two years ago, now ten of them are usually there. At least you know there are more foals being born.
One born last Friday - 3rd April. Seems early for the mare as she was the last to foal last year. Very unexpected. She didn't look that big when we saw her on Thursday evening, drove into the car park at the top of the pass Friday morning and noticed the foal with her, therefore it wouldn't have even been a day old. Great when they're like that. Got some photos of them - Anwen
Sure there was another foal on the mountain this morning. There were a few groups of them on the hills overlooking Conwy Morfa beach. Pretty positive there was a foal amongst one of the grops, don't think it was the one born last Friday!
